The method easily attaches narrowly cut members of the wild walnut to a base board and regulates the overall attaching surface. The decorative board comprises a regular patterned base board(1); a frame(2) having a seat face(2a) and a step(2b) for closely combining the edge of one board with the edge of another board; an auxiliary plate(3) preventing the base board(1) and the frame(2) from deforming; an inlaid wood member(4), attached to the center of the base board(1), being as thick as the auxiliary plate(3); a narrow member(5) thinly cut from the wild walnut.
