VEHICLE CHASING METHOD USING RAILROAD INFORMATION

The apparatus and method tracks speedily the position of the railroad vehicle on the railroad track by using an AVI(automatic vehicle identification) and a relay interface unit to improve the efficiency of the vehicle scheduling. The apparatus comprises: sensors(23) installed on each railroad track to sense the position of the vehicle; a 1st relay(22) receiving the signals sensed from the sensors(23) to generate the correspondent addresses; a process computer(20) processing the address transmitted from the 1st relay(22); a displayer & operation panel(26) displaying the data from the computer(20) and inputting the command for the computer(20); a 2nd relay(24) operated by a control signal from the computer(20).
