Electrical machine stator and rotor design for multi-phase electrical machine

A stator for a polyphase and multipole electrically commutated machine in which the phases are distributed in zones along the stator (3). The winding conductor (8) of a phase within a zone is wound in a meander around a next-following stator pole (5) so that the slot width between two adjacent stator poles (5) corresponds to the with of the winding conductor (8). The rotor poles (9) comprise sheet metal strips with tangentially, magnetised permanent magnets (I) arranged between the rotor poles (9).
