<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a stent which is indwelt within the body, such as respiratory duct, the gullet or the bile-duct, is used to prevent the closure of the internal cavity thereof, substantially prevents the adhesion and storage of the respiratory tract excretion on the inside surface of a cylindrical body, prevents the closure thereof, hardly forms granulation at both ends of the cylindrical body, is capable of preventing the closure of the respiratory duct and is extremely safe. CONSTITUTION: This stent has the hollow cylindrical body 2 made of silicone rubber opened at both ends and a silicon resin layer 4 is so formed as to cover the inside surface of this cylindrical body. The outside surfaces at both ends are notched. Next, silicone rubber layers 6 softer than the hardness of the cylindrical body 2 are formed in these notched parts 5. In addition, the outside surfaces of the silicone rubber layers are formed round and smooth toward both end side.</p> |
