PURPOSE: To obtain an ink for direct liquid filling type water-based ball-point pen, good in humectant properties of a pen point and stability with time and capable of allowing the pen to stand in a capless state without causing a direct flow phenomenon of spouting out the ink from the pen point and sagging the ink. CONSTITUTION: This ink for a direct liquid filling type water-based ball-point pen comprises at least one solvent selected from the group consisting of ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol, propylene glycol and glycerol, a cross-linked type acrylic acid polymer and a pigment. The amounts of the components based on the total ink are 5-40wt.% solvent, 0.1-1.0wt.% cross-linked type acrylic acid polymer and 5-10wt.% pigment and the balance essentially consisting of water. Thereby, the ink can suitably be used as an ink for a portable knocking type water-based ball-point pen. |
