PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new fungicidal composition by combining cyproconazole with prochloraz or further pyrimethanil, useful for treating soil and/or seed- borne diseases. SOLUTION: A new fungicide composition comprises cyproconazole of formula I and prochloraz of formula II as active ingredients. The composition may further mixed with pyrimethanil as a third component. The weight ratio of the compound of formula I and the compound of formula II is preferably in the range of 1:10 to 1:50, especially 1:10 to 1:40. The weight ratio the compound of formula I and the compound of formula III is 1:1 to 1:20, especially 1:5 to 1:15. The composition is mixed with a locus of fungus infection or the compound of formula I and the compound of formula II in effective total amounts are applied to a locus to remove soil and/or seed-borne diseases. |
