FIELD: indication technology. SUBSTANCE: invention is related to usage of vacuum luminescent indicators with directly heated cathode. Method of control over vacuum luminescent indicators includes supply of voltage to controlling electrodes of grid and anode coated with luminophor. Filament voltage is fed to cathode by pulses from source of constant current during time intervals when anode current stops. Amplitude of heating pulses U,, their duration τand time τbetween heating pulses are tied up by relation, where Uis effective value of filament voltage. Information is displayed during interval τbetween heating pulses. In this case both cathode leads have close or equal potentials. Device for implementation of method has voltage commutators of controlling electrodes, their controlling leads are connected to unit of controlling signals and supply leads - to sources of supply of constant currents of positive and negative polarity having common point. Cathodes of indicators are connected into series circuit. Device is inserted with heating key which controlling lead-out is connected to unit of controlling signals. First lead of heating key is connected to cathode lead of first indicator and second lead of it - to positive supply source of constant current. Second lead of last indicator is connected to common point of power supply sources. EFFECT: increased comfort of information reading from vacuum luminescent indicator by reduced irregularity of luminophor glow of anodes along length of cathodes. |
