摘要 FIELD: antenna engineering. SUBSTANCE: size and quantity of array antennas depend on size and shape of areas to be irradiated and quantity of beams depends on number of beam-generation circuits feeding the array. All antennas operate at the same amplitude level; direction and shape of beams depend on phase setting. Active phased-out transmitting antenna array has many antennas arranged in hexagonal manner. Each antenna has horn capable of radiating every signal of two orthogonal polarizations. Horn is excited by multipole band filter designed to pass signals at frequency within specified band and to suppress signals of other frequencies. Filter is coupled with dielectric air cavity installed on substrate. Dielectric air cavity has solid high-efficiency push-pull integrated amplifiers exciting orthogonal microwave signals by means of probes in combination with amplifiers arranged so that they excite cavity when they are spaced 180 deg apart. Beam shape and direction and signal amplitude of all antennas are maintained at equal level by means of phase shifters and attenuator installed on substrate and connected to amplifiers placed inside cavity. EFFECT: provision for simultaneous generation of several independent beams for irradiating desired areas without irradiating other areas of space.
