PURPOSE: To prevent the reverse rotation of a brushless motor at its starting and make its right rotation possible always. CONSTITUTION: At the starting of a three-phase four-pole brushless motor 1, a microcomputer 10a of a controlling circuit 10 outputs to a drive circuit 4b the drive signals of performing for a predetermined time current application to two armature windings V, W of the brushless motor 1, and switches on transistors Va, Z of an inverter part 2. Thereafter, the microcomputer 10a outputs to the drive circuit 4b the drive signals for performing for a predetermined time current application to the two armature windings comprising the one armature winding V whereto the current application had performed and an armature winding U whereto no current application has performed, and switches on the transistor Va and a transistor X. Thereby, a rotor 1a of the brushless motor 1 is always stayed in predetermined positions. |
