PURPOSE:To prevent flowing out of unreacted NH3 and to attain high denitration efficiency economically by making exhaust gas contg. NOx contact with NH3 gas in the presence of O2, at high temp. without use of catalyst, then by making the resulting exhaust gas contg. NOx more than stoichiometrical quantity corresponding to the unreacted NH3 contact with catalyst at specific temp.
