<p>PURPOSE: To provide a coin sorter reduced in size and price and having high performance by setting either one of 1st and 2nd frequency bands twice the other frequency band or more. CONSTITUTION: Detection coils include one coil 6a arranged on one side of a coin passage and the other coil 6b arranged oppositely to the coil 6a through the coin passage. When the frequency of an oscillation circuit including a 1st inside coil 6a1 and a 2nd inside coil 6b1 is set up 1st frequency and the frequency of an oscillation circuit including a 1st outside coil 6a2 and a 2nd outside coil 6b2 is set up as 2nd frequency, either one of the 1st and 2nd frequency bands is set up twice the other frequency or more. Consequently, a specific impedance change is resulted in accordance with a material of a passed coin. The change is compared with the data of a coin to be received which are previously stored in a judging means 15 and whether the coin is to be received or not is judged.</p> |
