PURPOSE: To provide an optical waveguide circuit with excellent productivity, manufacturing yield, reliability and economicity applicable to bi-direction transmission. CONSTITUTION: The optical waveguide circuit is constituted so that an optical waveguide I for incident through which light waves of wavelengths 1.3μm, 1.55μm transmit is connected with a multi-mode interference type demultiplexer II emitting these light waves to different positions, and an outgoing optical waveguide circuit III for 1.3μm of a Y branch shape is arranged on its output side, and it is connected to a light receiving device IV for 1.3μm and a semiconductor laser V. On the other hand, light outgoing from the outgoing optical waveguide VI for 1.55μm is received by the light receiving device VII for 1.55μm. |
