PURPOSE: To interrupt the AC power supply for the peripherals automatically by turning a switch on when AC power is fed to a computer otherwise breaking the switch. CONSTITUTION: Since the voltage Vc between the terminals (a), (b) at a voltage input terminal section 11 is higher than the threshold voltage Vt of a voltage detection circuit (PD) 7, the PD 7 makes a decision that AC power is fed to a computer and a coil 8a is not fed with exciting current. Consequently, a first switch (movable contact 8a, fixed contact 8d) and a second switch (8c, 8e) are held in turn-on state and AC power is fed through sockets 1-4 to peripherals. When an ending program is actuated to interrupt AC power supply to the computer, the voltage between the terminals (a), (b) of a plug 23 goes zero. Since the voltage Vc between the terminals (a), (b) at a voltage input terminal section 11 goes zero, the PD 7 makes a decision that AC power is not fed to the computer and an exciting current is fed to the coil 8a. Consequently, the first and second switches are broken to interrupt AC power supply to the sockets 1-4.
