PURPOSE: To concurrently perform partial lighting and whole lighting to use the light of one luminaire for two ways of illumination, by providing a blindfold cover on the outer side of a transparent cover to control the radiation direction of the luminaire through the interaction between the transparent cover and the blindfold cover. CONSTITUTION: At a position corresponding to a lamp bulb 34 in the outer peripheral part of a transparent cover 28 injection-molded by thermalplastic resin, a convex lenslike condensing part 35 is provided to condense the light of the lamp bulb 34. A blindfold cover 29 has a stainless-made cylindrical shape, and is detachably fitted to a base seat 27 from the outer side of the cover 28. In the cover 29, light, condensed by the condensing part 35 from an opening part 37, is irradiated downward. Also, a transparent or milk white acrylic plate, etc., is inserted into the opening part 38 of the front surface 36 of the cover 29. Consequently, a wide range can be lit by light of partial lighting having illuminance sufficient to see a nearby portion, and direct light from the lamp bulb 34 passing through a cover 39, by the interaction between the covers 28 and 29. |
