PURPOSE: To provide a new compound having high light-absorption and useful as UV absorbers, chelating agents, dyes, pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, additives, etc. CONSTITUTION: This compound is expressed by formula I (R1 to R5 are each H or a substituent; A1 and A2 are each pyridine ring or pyridinium ring), e.g. the compound of formula II. The compound of formula I can be produced by reacting a compound of formula III (X is an eliminable group) with a compound of formula A1 -Sn(R7 )3 (R7 is an alkyl) and a compound of formula A2 -SO(R7 )3 . |
