A novel signalling concept and device for the back and sides of motor vehicles including cars, trucks and lorries as well as coaches and buses. The device automatically controls an illuminated strip at the back and on the sides of the vehicle. The width of the strip will be determined by legislation but is of around 9-13 centimetres, and the strip extends across the whole width of the vehicle at the back and along the whole length of the vehicle on each side. The colours specified in the description are included in the invention. |
