Semiconductor digital=analogue converter

The converter includes a substrate with two separated regions (1,2) and four parallel tracks with respective resistances. One track is provided between one reference voltage supplying terminal (-Vref) and a main node and it has resistances in series (R00-R03) which are connected via several other nodes. Two other tracks are provided with respective resistances (R04-R07,R08-R11) which are parallel to the initial track with the final track (R12-R15) also running parallel and connected at its end to a second reference voltage (+Vref). The tracks are connected in a serpentine manner such that the end of one track is connected to the beginning of the other and that all the resistances between the tracks are connected in series between the two reference voltages. The switch elements are connected to the ends of each resistor so that a combination of voltages can be obtained to give an analogue equivalent voltage output.
