PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binding means capable of binding a part used as a back cover of a plurality of sheets of paper. SOLUTION: This binding means is provided with an upper arm 10 with a staple pushing-out part 20 mounted, a plate-like lower arm 11 provided with a base part 11c on its peak part, and a handle part 12 for moving the respective tips of the upper and lower arms in the closing direction by gripping it. By gripping the handle part 12, the plurality of sheets of paper arranged in the space between the upper arm and the lower arm can be bound by staples.
