The carrier is shaped as a channel with two sidewalls (1) rolled over at the top for strengthening (2), and a floor (3) from which the sidewalls stand at a slight angle to the vertical. A series of openings (4) in the floor are sepd. by deep-drawn crossbars (5) with U-, V- or O-section. The distance between neighbouring crossbars is chosen to suit the flexibility of the most easily laid cable.
