Feeding apparatus 22 for feeding articles 4 from a tube magazine 2 comprises a frame 28 for supporting the tube 2 with a first end 6 of the tube adjacent to a delivery station. The articles 4 are fed by a flexible feeding member which has a first feeding member end located, at the beginning of an operating cycle, adjacent to the second end of the tube 2. The feeding member extends away from the second end 8 and then in the reverse direction back towards the first end 6 of the tube 2. The feeding member is moved through the tube 2 by a resilient flexible tape. The actuator has a coiled portion adjacent to the second tube end 8 and an end portion which extends from the coiled portion towards the first tube end 6. The end portion is secured to the trailing end of the feeding member.
