Mechanical coupling for abutting shaft ends of vehicle drive train

The coupling has at least 3 peripherally spaced coupling plates (3) for transmission of the rotary torque between the shaft ends (1,2), each secured to the latter via a pair of threaded bolts (4) positioned adjacent one another in the peripheral direction. The coupling plates have resilient projections (7) extending radially inwards, for contacting the threaded bolts and compensating the mfg. tolerances during assembly.
