Table for thermal cutting

The table with a support grid for material (30, 31) to be cut by a torch (11) incorporates a suction system for removal of fumes and dust, and means for getting rid of solid residues. Its characteristic features include: (a) longitudinal walls (2) with elements (20) serving as stiffeners and rectangular collector pipes; (b) cross-beams in the form of cylindrical pipes (23) provided with vertical top ribs (4) and suction slits (22); (c) longitudinal ribs (6) which fit into the slits (5) in the ribs (4) and are themselves provided with slits (7); (d) a grid of support strips (8) loosely insertable into the slits (7).
