PROCESSING METHOD OF INSTRUMENT PANEL UPHOLSTERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing method of a tearing cut for deployment of an air-bag in an instrument panel using an easily melting plastic with a low softening temperature as an upholstery material.

SOLUTION: In a method of forming a cut for cleaving the instrument panel for deployment of the air-bag on a slush-casted polyurethane upholstery (S) containing radical polymerization unsaturated group-containing compound (C) containing two to ten radical polymerization unsaturated groups in each molecule, after forming a cut, an ultraviolet ray or an electron ray is irradiated onto an incision surface of the cut to process the tearing cut for deployment of the air-bag in the instrument panel.
