<p>PURPOSE: To provide a low-cost flowmeter with excellent anti-corrosiveness by forming a sensor pipe and a mounting table from a nickel material and stainless steel, respectively, and brazing the pipe fast to the mounting table using a gold solder material. CONSTITUTION: A sensor pipe 1 is made into approx. a U-shape and its two ends 1a, 1b are fixed penetrating a mounting table 2, and the whole composition consists of nickel. The two ends 1a, 1b are connected with a main pipe, and the ratio of the rate of flow of the pipe 1 to a bypass provided parallel therewith is made constant, and the total rate of flow of the main pipe is determined from the rate of flow of the pipe 1. The mounting pipe 2 is made of stainless steel and brazed upon penetrating the pipe 1 by filling the gap between the two members with a gold solder A directly. Because the pipe 1 is made of nickel having better anti-corrosiveness than stainless steel, it endures a temp. up to 600 deg.C in good performance, and the pipe 1 is free from elusion because the gold solder A does not contain any impurity element(s) which might ill influence the anti-corrosiveness and also has a low brazing temp.</p> |
