<p>PURPOSE: To fold a large, strong, and light weight chair into a compact size by foldably connecting a support of a chair back part to a pair of rear legs by the first coupling member and foldably connecting a pair of support rods, which support a seat member so as to be a seat, to a pair of front legs by the second coupling member. CONSTITUTION: A support 9, which supports a seat member 2 so as to be a chair back part 2a, a pair of rear legs 71, 72 are connected by the first coupling member 5, a pair of support rods 81, 82 and front legs 73, 74 are connected by the second coupling member 6, and the first and the second coupling members 5, 6 are fixed to the both ends of a coupling rod 4. When it is folded, a support member 10 is detached from the support 9, a support beam 13 is drawn out from a support pipe 12, and holes 22, 22 are removed from the support rods 812, 82 so that the seat member 2 is taken off. After an inner rod 92 is pushed in the inside of an outer rod 91, the outer rod 91 is pulled, removed from an insertion part, and folded so as to superpose it on the coupling rod 4. The front legs 73, 74, the rear legs 71, 72, and the support rods 81, 82 are collaps in the same way.</p> |
