PROCESS AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCTION OF FILAMENT YARNS BY MELT SPINNING

A method and an apparatus for manufacturing a filament yarn by a melt spinning are provided to secure a yarn falling tube having a wall structure with the first and second flowing sections. A thread falling tube has a wall structure for forming the first and second flowing sections. The first flowing section is formed at an end of the thread falling tube and the second flowing section is formed at the other end thereof. The size of the first flowing section is smaller than that of the second flowing section. The wall structure has at least one longitudinal section or at least one air-permeable longitudinal section. The arrangement and size of the air-permeable portion are selected in order to have some quantity of over-pressure at the entire positions of the wall of the thread falling tube.
