PURPOSE: To provide a magnetic recording medium for making a card with a proper information recording section composed of an irreversibly visible information by using a heat-sensitive recording material working as a magnetic information recording and preventing alteration of a card or the like and forming a record irreversibly in which alteration or rewriting cannot be performed effectively. CONSTITUTION: A magnetic recording medium 1 is formed by laminating at least a magnetic recording layer 6, a hologram layer 4 and a visible information recording layer 5 for recording irreversibly on a base 2.
