CLEANSING COMPOSITIONS

A liquid personal cleansing composition comprising: a) from about 5 % to about 60 % by weight of surfactant selected from anionic, nonionic, zwitterionic and amphoteric surfactants and mixtures thereof; b) from about 0.1 % to about 5 % by weight of a water-insoluble salt of a C14-C22 fatty acid; c) optionally from about 0.01 % to about 5 % by weight of a cationic or nonionic polymeric skin conditioning agent; and d) water. The products demonstrate excellent inuse efficacy benefits including mildness, a soap-like skin feel and good product stability.
