A flat display device is provided to conduct a printed circuit board and a metal chassis by exposing a copper thin film of the printed circuit board to the chassis without an extra conductive tape. A flat display device includes a display panel(110), a printed circuit board(130), a chassis(120), and a receiving unit. The display panel includes first and second substrates(111), a liquid crystal, and a backlight unit(115). The second substrate includes a plurality of thin film transistors. The thin film transistors are arranged as a matrix type. An integrated circuit is mounted on a side of the second substrate for supplying the second substrate with data signals and scanning signals. The liquid crystal is injected between the first and the second substrates. The printed circuit board is connected to the display panel. The chassis receives the printed circuit board and includes a receiving unit. The receiving unit is an elastic hook(125) for receiving an edge of the printed circuit board. A copper film of the printed circuit board is formed on the junction part of the edge of the printed circuit board and the chassis.
