PERSONAL PROTECTION STRUCTURE OF KEYBOARD MUSICAL INSTRUMENT

PURPOSE: To provide a personal protection device of a keyboard musical instrument by which there is no possibility of being injured even if a person strikes his head and forehead on an under part of the keyed instrument. CONSTITUTION: An edge part 18a on the front side of an under surface of a bracket lower part 18 of an upright piano 10 is a part where a front surface 18b and an under surface 18c almost cross at right angles to each other by slightly projecting forward. An edge part 20a on the front side of an under surface of a peybed 20 is a part where a front surface 20b and an under surface 20c almost cross at right angles to each other. These edge parts 18a and 20a are chamfered in a curved surface shape, and urethane type synthetic resin layers 18d and 20d as a cushion layer are arranged so as to cover these edge parts 18a and 20a.
