<p>PURPOSE: To provide a testing terminal structure for a power cable in which the length of the cable necessary for dielectric breakdown test can be shortened. CONSTITUTION: Lower side insulating oil 3 having larger specific gravity than that of water, water 4 disposed on the oil 3 and upper side insulating oil 5 having smaller specific gravity than that of water are disposed around a power cable 1. Upper and lower boundaries of two stages are formed at the upper and lower surfaces of the water, and two stages of electric field relaxation layers are formed. Therefore, the cable can be disposed vertically linearly to conduct a dielectric breakdown test. The length of the cable required for the test can be shortened as compared with the case of the dielectric breakdown test by bending the cable in a U shape, and the cost required for the test can be reduced.</p> |
