Wood thread cutter for left and right-hand threads

Right-hand and left-hand threads are cut in wood from rectangular stock by a top milling cutter. The rounded wood (4) is positioned on the worktable and clamped in place by pressure plate (11) and worktable together. Table and plate can be adjusted via threaded pins in converging or diverging movements, and the cutter is set to centre by a pin which also tracks and maintains the desired thread pitch. The pitch and OD can be set individually for each round per cutter. Each thread runs along its allocated guide rail, placed at top and bottom plates of the machine for respective right and left-hand thread cutting. The work is held in chucks both sides to allow infinite adjustment and thread-cutting on-line.
