Method and apparatus for treatment of a gas mixture containing ozone

Treatment of ozone-contg. sec. gas involves: (a) adding CO2-contg. adjacent gas (18) to sec. gas; (b) passing resulting gas mixt. into one or more adsorbent containers (7) in which the ozone is (partially) adsorbed; and (c) flushing container(s) (7) with CO2-contg. desorption gas (18) to obtain ozone-contg. prodn. gas having ozone concn. greater than that of sec. gas. Also claimed is an installation for carrying out the above process. Pref. the adsorbent is a silica gel.
