PURPOSE: To provide a joining member excellent in the strength of a joined part by specifying metal composition of the joined part between iron alloy and nickel alloy and depositing an intermetallic compound of a specified grain size through aging heat treatment. CONSTITUTION: Iron alloys 2, 3 of magnetic metal and a nickel alloy 4 of non- magnetic metal are joined by welding of TIG welding, electron beam welding etc., to obtain a joined material 1 of comb type magnetic pole rotor, etc. At this time, an Ip value to show the metal composition of a joined part C formed between the joining faces 7, 8 of both alloys is set to 1.0-3.5, where the Ip value is expressed by the following equatations: Ip=Al+27/48 (Ti-48/12K1 C)+27/93 (Nb-93/12K2 C), K1 =Ti/48/(Ti/48+Nb/93), K2 =Nb/93/(Ti/48+Nb/93). Further, the joined material 1 is subjected to aging heat treatment, the average grain size of the intermetallic chompouned deposited in an austenitic crystalline grain of the joined part C is made to a range of 10-70μm.
