The distribution device includes a fixed part (1) connected to an electrical energy distribution network (6). The fixed part (1) contains a switch (5) connected between the network and a fixed connector (8) for providing an electrical energy supply to a load (3). The device also includes a movable part (2) containing the electrical load (3) connected to a movable connector (13) by a cable (12). The movable connector (13) is designed for insertion into the fixed connector (8) in the fixed part of the unit. The fixed part (1) also includes a control device (9) for controlling the switch (5). The movable connector (13) has configuration device (14), consisting of the digital circuit with the memory, designed to be connected to the control device (9) via fixed connections (16) and a coupling circuit (15) which pass read/write functions to the configuration device (14). The control device includes a protection device (17) having a variable current threshold connected to a device for measuring current circulating in the switch for opening the switch when the measured current value exceeds the threshold value during a predetermined time. A user interface is connected to the control device (9) for entering new electronic payment values and displaying them. |
