A method of determining dyeing conditions, i.e., a concentration of each dye in a dyeing path of a mixed system of three colors and a dyeing time. The dyeing condition is determined from the relation among the minute deviation in color of a dyed lens expressed on uniform color space coordinates, the minute deviation in the concentration of each color and the minute deviation in the immersion time into the bath. The invention further discloses a production method of a dyed lens which dyes the lens by this dyeing condition determination. In dyeing methods of a lens, particularly a plastic lens, the concentration of each dye in the bath and the dyeing time can be determined more easily and more correctly for obtaining the target color, and a dyed lens having a desired color can be produced.
