FIELD: vibration and impact protection equipment, may be used for fastening data storage units in aircraft compartment. SUBSTANCE: vibration isolator has two bases, spring and damping member formed as toroid made from resilient material, with spring and damping member being positioned in blind openings of bases in axially aligned relation between two bases. Damping member is positioned between two casings mounted on lower base and upper base. Bases have radially extending grooves.
