METHOD OF TREATMENT OF CERIUM SALT AQUEOUS SOLUTION

FIELD: rare-earth element salts purification. SUBSTANCE: method involves passing cerium salt aqueous solutions through macroporous phosphoric acid cationite at rate 0.05-0.20 cm/cmx min followed by cerium carbonate precipitation at pH 4.5-5.5. Method provides effective purification of product from microimpurities of alkaline-earth metals and lead up to the level 1•10-5•10wt.-%. Purification coefficient is at the level 20-50 U. Method can be used for high purity substance preparing, in radioelectronics, laser technology. EFFECT: improved method of treatment.
