<p>Biopsy forceps (10) with a flexible support cable (11), a jaw mount (20) on the support cable with jaws (30, 31), and a control wire (40) to operate the jaws. The expensive jaw mount (20) and jaws (30, 31), and the control wire (40) are readily removable from the support cable (11) so that the cable can be discarded, and the more expensive mount (20), jaws (30, 31) and control wire (40), may be cleaned and reused. Only the less expensive support cable (11) need be replaced.</p> |
