PURPOSE: To improve a coloring property, a decoloring property, and image stability by using a specified fluoran compound as a leuco compound, forming a recording layer containing a color developing-subtracting agent and a binder as main components on a support, and forming a reversible thermosensible recording material. CONSTITUTION: A recording layer containing at least one kind of a fluoran compound expressed by a formula (A1 and A2 are a 1-8C alkyl group and a 2-8C alkoxyalkyl group, a heterocyclic compound in which nitrogen atoms are linked with each other, A3 is a 1-4C alkyl group, A4 and A5 are each a 1-8C alkyl group.) as a leuco compound, a color developing-subtracting agent, and a binder as main components is formed on a support to make a reversible thermosensible recording material. Practical examples of the compounds shown in the formula are 2-(2,6-dimethylanilino)-3-methyl-6-dimethylamino fluoran, etc. |
