<p>PURPOSE: To provide an information input device and method easy in operation without making the system complex and sacrificing the reliability and maintainability. CONSTITUTION: A 4-bit, binary code corresponding to the angle of rotation of the knob 51a of a digital switch 51 is outputted and a D/A converter 52 having received the binary code signal outputs an analog signal corresponding to the signal. A CPU core 60 switches an analog selector 58 according to a previously program to lead one of analog signals inputted to ports of a one-chip microcomputer 57 from analog conversion input parts 53-66 to an A/D converter 59. The output of the A/D converter 59 is sent to a controller 5 which controls the whole device through an I/F 61.</p> |
