PURPOSE: To prevent the high power supply function of a battery group from deteriorating without replacing all batteries when the battery is partially deteriorated. CONSTITUTION: Terminal voltage of batteries 1-3 connected in series is detected by a switching detection circuit or a simultaneous detection circuit or the temperature thereof or the like is detected thus detecting a deteriorated battery. A standby battery 4 is then connected in parallel with the deteriorated battery thus detected. |
