Fabric taping panel for articles having adhesive tape fasteners

The system comprises an adhesive tape fastener 20, a substrate layer 22 and a fibrous taping panel 24. The fibrous taping panel is bonded to the substrate layer and includes a fibrous outer surface which is capable of providing adhesive bonding with the adhesive tape fastener. The fibrous taping panel provides a shear strength with the adhesive tape fastener of at least about 0.60 pounds-force (2.67 Newtons). The fibrous taping panel can also provide a peel strength with the adhesive tape fastener of no more than about 0.80 pounds-force (3.56 Newtons). The fibrous outer surface of the fibrous taping panel comprises fibers which are capable of withstanding a peeling removal of the adhesive tape fastener therefrom without unacceptably contaminating the adhesive tape fastener to allow a refastening of the adhesive tape fastener to the fibrous outer surface.
