LOOSE MATERIAL DRYING DEVICE

摘要

FIELD: drying of materials in processing food and nonfood products. SUBSTANCE: evaporating surface of loose materials is enlarged due to their shaping into ribbon in chamber accommodating plates made of radio- transparent material and inclined towards direction of loose material displacement at an acute angle on side of their upper surface; loose materials displace within chamber by gravity. Microwave drying is combined with convective drying by heated air which is admitted and discharged through below-cutoff waveguides. The latter are also used for loading loose materials and discharging them from device. Provision is made for using charging and intake hopper without below-cutoff waveguides. When this is the case, electricity-nonconducting covers are used as safety devices. Radiotransparent adjacent walls of loading hopper and conveying channel are provided to match conveying channel and microwave radiation effect with microwave radiation source. EFFECT: improved capacity of device, protection of attending personnel against stray microwave radiation.
