PURPOSE: To prevent images from being overlapped when the transfer paper formed with an image on one face is reutilized and images are formed in the double-face image forming mode. CONSTITUTION: A conveyance path 25 is provided with the first image detecting sensor 21 detecting whether an image has been formed on the face to be formed with an image of the transfer paper P fed from a paper feed unit 13 and the second image detecting sensor 22 detecting the image on the opposite face of the transfer paper P. When the first image detecting sensor 21 detects an image in the double-face image forming mode, the image forming action is stopped, and the transfer paper P is discharged to a paper discharge section 20. When the second image detecting sensor 2 detects an image, an image is formed only on one face detected by the first image detecting sensor 21 of the transfer paper P. Images are prevented from being overlapped when the transfer paper P formed with an image on one face is reutilized. |
