PURPOSE: To facilitate positioning for a weather strip against an open window by forming a locking section at the outer circumferntial surface side of the weather strip, and also forming a receiving section to which the locking section is fitted in, at one side of a window frame or a sash in the partition window of a door, which holds a pane of window glass. CONSTITUTION: In the partition window of a door for an automobile, a weather strip 4 to be mounted to an open window formed out of a window frame and one side of a sash, is formed with a locking section 51 composed of a projected section, at the outer circumferential surface side of a bottom section 4F, meanwhile, the plate shaped bracket 13 of the window frame 14 is formed with a receiving section 52 large enough in size for the locking section to be fitted in, at a position corresponding to the locking section 51. The receiving section is in a rectangular shape in cross section, and the sizes of the receiving section 52 in length and width are made fairly larger than those of the locking section 51. And it is so designed that the weather strip 4 can be assembled in the window frame of a door panel in a state that the locking section 51 is fitted in the receiving section 52. |
