<p>PURPOSE: To prevent the erasure of stored data at the time of changing a battery by slidably providing a locking lever over a recess for containing the battery on an IC card, and unlocking d battery case containing the battery from the body unit of the card only in the case of engaging the case with the card to be mounted. CONSTITUTION: An IC card 1 is inserted to a body unit 16. The end 13 of a locking lever 11 is locked to a locking hole 18 provided in the insertion hole 17 of the unit 16 by a spring 12 in the state that a battery case 2 with a battery is removed to prevent the removal of the card 1 from the unit 16. Then, the case 2 with the battery is mounted at the card 1. The battery 7 presses a slider 15 in the state that the card 1 is inserted into the unit 16, and the end 13 of the lever 11 is removed from the hole 18, and hence the card 1 can be removed from the unit 16. Thus, at the time of changing the battery, stored data in the card 1 is prevented from being erased.</p> |
