<p>PURPOSE: To assemble a rubber bush by a pair of uniaxial press-fit head with the upper surface of right and left trailing arms being upward, and to facilitate the fitting of parts such as a brake tube to the upper surface of a trailing arm during the assembling work. CONSTITUTION: A pair of straight-moving guides 10 are arranged on each side of a press-fit head 4, and both ends of a moving table 14 are loaded on these straight-moving guides 10. A pair of clamp cylinders 18a, 18b for right and left use are arranged in the vicinity of both ends of one straight-moving guide 10a. A trailing arm 2a or 2b is supported by the moving table 14, and after the moving table 14 is moved until it is abutted on a stopper 12a or 12b, the trailing arm 2a or 2b is pressed by the clamp cylinder 18a or 18b so as to be positioned and fixed. A rubber bush is press-fitted into a pivotable hole of the trailing arm 2a or 2b by opening a press-fit head 4 in this condition.</p> |
