Solid pharmaceutical prepn. for oral admin. comprises: a) at least 1 antacid and/or H2 antagonist; b) at least 1 disintegrant; c) at least 1 conventional binder; and d) a water-soluble amino acid or deriv. and/or salt. Component d) accelerates disintegration of the prepn. in the mouth or in a liquid. The antacid is aluminium hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, trisilicate, carbonate, oxide or phosphate, calcium carbonate or phosphate, sodium citrate or bicarbonate, magaldrate, hydrotalcite or bismuth carbonate. The H2-antagonist is pref. cimetidine, ranitidine or famotidine. The disintegrant is starch, cellulose, alginic acid or casein or a deriv. of these, or an insol. PVP. The amino acid component is glycine, proline, hydroxyproline or lysine. |
