SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANAGEMENT OF DISTRIBUTED REQUEST IN PARALLEL DATABASE

PURPOSE: To provide a system and a method for supporting a distribution update request in a transaction on a parallel database. CONSTITUTION: In the database management system, the database update request usually generates an action in plural nodes. When the update of the arbitrary node fails, all updated roll back is requested. A cooperation process 13 monitors the failure or success of the update. A coordinator discriminates the action generated in the arbitrary node from an action generated in the other node in accordance with a different database update request. A save point 23 is local. It rolls back the selected update without affecting the node which does not process the update.
